Description
The fleur de lis is a timeless and highly recognisable symbol used for centuries to signify life, perfection and light. Translated to flower of the lily, the fleur de lis was adopted by the French monarchy in the 12th century. It is also the symbol of Florence, Italy and is used in their coat of arms.
I am a big fan of the fleur de lis and made this ring for the people who hold this symbol dear to their hearts. To me it reminds me of a trip I made to Florence.
This ring is made from sterling silver. The ring band is rounded and 2mm thick. The fleur de lis has been hand cast in my studio and measures 18mm in height and 14mm in width at widest point.
The fleur de lis ring is also available in solid 9 carat gold, which you can see in the last photo.
